Niall began his career with one year of intensive leadership training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, before serving as a commissioned officer in the British Army for a further four years. He left the army to train as a professional actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, before pursuing a rewarding, and relatively successful career on stage and in television.
Over the past ten years, Niall has been delivering one to one coaching, and designing and facilitating interactive and experiential leadership development programmes, usually within the context of people, culture and communication.
Amongst many others, he has coached over 70 senior leaders in one of the world’s largest multinational banking and financial services organisations, as part of a Global Finance transformation programme. He has also coached and mentored countless leaders to design and deliver high impact pitches, presentations and speeches, with a focus on content, style and the behaviours associated with Executive Presence and high impact communication.
Niall is passionate about helping leaders to clearly define, commit to, and achieve attainable goals. His approach helps clients to recognise and acknowledge what they are good at; to build better self-awareness; to be more confident and more resilient; and to take small, committed steps when working on big personal challenges. Niall strongly believes that we all have the power to change and adapt and that, more often than not, it is our own inner critic that gets in the way. His coaching will help create more control over that inner critic, by defining what needs to be done and how to do it.
